Dr. Ejesieme's immigrant father was a healthcare provider, and she grew up watching him form lifetime friendships with his patients. Those mornings — seeing what it looks like when a clinician treats every person who walks in like they matter — sat with her. So did watching how few of the people she knew had access to affordable, dignified care.
That's the standard she set for North Dallas Smiles. The office is built around the idea that a dentist should explain what they're doing, listen more than they talk, and never make you feel rushed. It's the reason patients describe their visits as feeling like "having a friend take care of your dental work."
Outside of the chair, Dr. Ejesieme is a former NCAA All-American athlete who competed in track and field — the kind of background that shows up as steady hands and a calm chairside presence. She has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dallas as a mentor and advocate for more than a decade, and on a quieter day you'll find her in a Pilates studio or cooking her way through a new international cuisine.
